TAPI Integration

In addition to using data from the netFLEX API to communicate directly with devices, Prism now leverages the ONF’s Transport API (TAPI) to interface with Vendor Network Management Systems (NMSs). This integration significantly enhances our capability to manage multi-generation, multi-vendor networks.

Enhanced Communication
Prism can use either netFLEX, TAPI, or both simultaneously, providing a unified interface to visualize, manage, and optimize your network.

We currently support TAPI 2.5.0 on Ciena Navigator 9.0+

Equipment Dashboard

We’re introducing the Equipment Dashboard, which provides detailed information about the hardware within your network devices through the vendor NMS T-API interface. The Equipment Dashboard consists of two main components: Equipment Overview and Equipment Report.

Equipment Overview
The Equipment Overview provides a summary of all hardware components across your network. You can view information such as device types, racks, circuit packs, and pluggable modules.

Equipment Report
The Equipment Report offers detailed information about each piece of hardware within the network elements. A key feature of the Equipment Report is its hierarchical structure, which defines the relationships between the device’s equipment, allowing you to drill down into individual components and understand their context.

Enhanced Custom Dashboards

Continuing our commitment to flexibility and customization, we've added new features to create a truly custom dashboard experience.


Mix and Match Components
Users can now mix and match different dashboard components to build custom dashboards that suit their unique needs.


Dashboard Templates
The previous dashboards are now available as templates, which can be customized and created under the “New” section.


AI Functionality Enhancement
The AI functionality for creating custom dashboards has been moved to the “New” page, making it easier to access and utilize.
